BOD Development Committee
The SCCCC Board Development Committee is comprised of BOD members and holds responsibility for the nomination of officers, recruitment of board members and review of committee structure as well as plan and facilitate the annual BOD Retreat.

Communication Committee
The SCCCC Communication Committee works closely with the Executive Director in order to facilitate the organization's communication plan, communication technologies, web site advancements and communication vehicles including the e-newsletter, membership directory, and other communications initiatives and projects.

Community and Government Relations Committee
The SCCCC CGRC, in conjunction with Chamber Bylaws, oversees and monitors the organization's position on proposed state and local legislation and regulations. The CGRC is a proactive group of members that supports improving communications with elected officials; increases awareness to members of proposed legislation at federal, state, and local levels by providing information on bills and status of legislation; works closely with State, County, and Boroughs/Townships to revise comprehensive plans and other changes; and hosts programs and events with elected officials to share views and information on issues affecting the business community in the Chamber’s service area.

Finance Committee
The SCCCC Finance Committee is chaired by the SCCCC Treasurer, and is in place to monitor and report the financial aspects of the Chamber. Duties include the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial reports, preparation of the annual budget and charting the financial progress of the Board of Directors at monthly meetings.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee oversees the implementation of the Membership Strategic Plan that includes the enhancement of member retention programs and the facilitation of membership growth initiatives. The calendar year 2012 will see special attention given to special projects related to communicating the advantages of being a member to all employees at member business locations, among other things.

SCCCC Ambassadors Committee
SCCCC Ambassadors serve as mentors to new members in order to assist them with becoming acclimated and involved with the Chamber, its programs, and with other members. Ambassadors invite prospects and members to events; they meet & greet attendees at Chamber functions and assist Chamber staff with ongoing recruiting and retention efforts.

Strategic Focus
The Strategic Focus Committee consists of the SCCCC Chairman of the Board, Vice President and Executive Director.
The purpose is to provide strategic planning direction for the Chamber.
