Business owners and professionals are focused on the day-to-day responsibilities of their business and may find it difficult to be consistently engaged in the activities that can determine the future business climate. That's where we come in.

The Southern Chester County Chamber's advocacy efforts are largely conducted through its Community and Government Relations Committee, which proposes policy positions to the Chamber’s Board of Directors and takes direction from the Board. 

Our CGRC team works on your behalf to support legislation that bolsters our region's economy. We work to create broad-based coalitions around issues we all care about, including tax reform, transportation, infrastructure, and workforce development. Although the Chamber is interested in and stays abreast of national issues, it is primarily actively involved at the state and local levels.
