Membership Committee
Who We Are: The Membership Committee is comprised of a group of committed members who support the Chamber's efforts for the growth and development of membership. The committee has a structured and focused system of connecting with businesses in the Chamber's service area, and, inviting them to learn more about the organization and its many benefits. Committee members who bring in 5 (or more) new members over the course of 12 months receive a $200 credit toward their next year's dues.
What We Do: This Committee follows a structured membership recruitment strategy based on a “footprint” of data about businesses in the Southern Chester County region. When the Membership Committee meets, they report to one another about contacts they have made, share strategies to reach out effectively, and assign new prospects to specific committee members.
When We Meet: Last Wednesday of the month from 8:00 - 9:00 am at the Chamber office, 8 Federal Road, West Grove.
Responsibilities:
This committee provides an essential service to the Chamber, by actively identifying and inviting new members to join. each out to local businesses for membership

Committee Chair: Lisa Long (Nawn and Company, CPAs)
Lisa Angst Long, CPA For over 32 years, Lisa owned and operated the accounting practice of LA Long & Associates, PC located in southern Chester County, specializing in business and individual taxation. In 2017, Lisa’s firm merged with Nawn and Company, CPA’s Ltd, an accounting firm based in Paoli, now with a new location in Avondale. Prior to starting her accounting firm in 1986, Lisa worked as Corporate Accounting Manager of CRC Chemicals. Prior to that, Lisa worked as a staff accountant with Price Waterhouse & Co in Philadelphia.
Lisa previously served on the board of directors of the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce, and as Chairman in 1992. She also served as the organization’s treasurer for 15 years. In addition, Lisa founded SCCOOT, served as Chairman and on the board, as well as chairman of both the Jennersville YMCA and the Mushroom Festival. Lisa also served on the boards of many other area organizations over the years. In her spare time, she is a World Champion Trapshooter gaining the title four times in her shooting career. Lisa is a graduate of Susquehanna University and resides in Nottingham, Pa.
